The Brisbane Showgrounds and Royal ICC

The historic Brisbane Showgrounds is a world-class events and lifestyle precinct located just 1.5km from the city's CBD.

It’s home to the state-of-the-art Royal International Convention Centre (Royal ICC), a four and a half star Rydges Hotel and vibrant King Street dining and retail hub, making it a sought-after and leading events destination.

Whether it’s an intimate gathering for 20 or an event for 25,000, the Brisbane Showgrounds offers the largest and most versatile range of indoor and outdoor venues in Queensland, to suit any occasion.

From corporate functions to music festivals, more than 250 events hosting a total of one million people are staged at the Showgrounds each year, including Queensland’s largest event the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka).

Like all leading events precincts, the 145 year old Brisbane Showgrounds is constantly improving and evolving. Stage three of the RNA's $2.9 billion Brisbane Showgrounds Regeneration Project is underway and has already transformed the precinct into a year round destination for the community. Find out more about the RNA Regeneration Project.

The Brisbane Showgrounds is owned and operated by the RNA, whose core charter is to celebrate and champion the essential role agriculture plays in the everyday lives of Queenslanders. All revenue is reinvested back into this charter.
